Aaaaaaaaaand neow for something completely different.....I love the blues....For me, it doesn't get any better than Lead Belly, Son House, Muddy, etc.....I love rap and hip hop.....Hell, rap is an extension of the blues....I'm typically not a fan of mash-ups.....It's pretty high-larious when a twerp pushing a button borrows from real musicians who had to struggle well beyond their comprehension....However, Kid Koala is badass....and the times they are a changin' kids.....You don't wanna be one of those people shakin' their fist cuz Elvis shook his hips.....Even though Koala is pushing buttons....He's pushing the right buttons.....There's really nothing else to do but smile when you listen to 12 Bit Blues.....mash/sampling/blues/bit-musack/dub/just a good time:

Alright class.....today's assignment......Listen to more Howlin' Wolf, Robert Johnson, Son House, and Blind Willie.....Hey....you there in the back smoking?!?!...You say you already have.......Well, shit.....The Ragged Jubilee have done their homework.....Not only have they aced their homework.....Someone pissed them off......I think someone fed them whiskey too......I wrote abOUt these hell hounds a year or so ago....The best band to ever come out of San Luis Obispo is back.....and they've gotten even better....blues rock/retro reverb rock/howlin' vox/dirty/filthy.....now somebody rip a smoke and crack a cold one for christ's sake:
