The Antlers "Undersea" - 2012 EP

I couldn't sleep last night.....Right as I started to close my eyes a creative rush of 100 paintings crossed my mind....More projects.....more ideas.....more endless work.  After sketching the best of the visions I shut my eyes around 4am.....It was a plunge.....A jump off the high dive into the deep end.....One of the Roosevelt's said "Only boring people talk about their dreams."  Well I kind of agree but hell every now and then it's fun.....I twisted at the bottom of the ocean....A chocolate submarine passed by.....A Dolphin carried me through a tunnel and yes I was left standing in front of a classroom naked...The Antlers "Undersea" was probably not a good idea to throw on the turntable....I still cannot tell if I am awake....Am I still dreaming?.....The Antlers 2012 EP is a solid blissed-out/Pink Floyd drug induced/chill out/rock EP.....soooooooo good......Now if I could just get this giant snake to quit following me........

The news has been bad recently.  Like reaaaaaal bad.  Turn on any station and BAM!....Instantly bombarded with shit.  Public shootings, gov't overthrows, nobody has any goddamn money, icons dying, etc., etc., etc.....Well they forgot one story....Maybe because it's a happy one....or a weird one....A spaceship landed.  The extraterrestrials exited and with their pink hair, gloves, and skinny jeans.....Oh my dear god....Our generation's Ziggy Stardust is here.....Ariel Pink has a unique vision.  He has a unique sound.  The sound is deep rooted in the 'strange'....The sound comes from outer space and with his sophomore effort it seems like he's here to stay......space rock/weird jam/heavy Zappa influence/irreverent/glam/pop rock....excellent album your kids will ask you about:
