A year ago a friend: "Hey man you gotta get a Facebook and post art"

Are you noticing a trend here?  Before the last one it was Deviant Art and before that Twitter and so on and so on....It's puddle jumping.  Here's an alternative view....They're all a waste of time.  Online marketing is not posting a picture and hoping to get "likes", or views or the holy grail, "comments".  There is much more to marketing.  So now that I have a Flickr, a Twitter, a Tumblr, etc. You know what I've learned?  Things are wayyyy out of control online.  Fuck 'em all.  Whatever happened to a good conversation? A productive phone call?  A European lunch? A high five? The Men have stripped things back.  There are no Pro Tools.  There are no "dubs" or samples.  Just 4 dudes playing their own instruments and playing rock.  Amen.

Blogs are stupid....I say that while I sit in my studio (blogging)....surrounded by art....canvases....Things you can physically touch....Things that have texture.... and smell.....I'm naked....hahahaha...kidding.....Anywazzze.....There are no filters....I speLL however I like and say whatever the eff I want....Romney is ghey.....See....Anything I want....How did we get here?....The internet is like the Wild West.....the irrelevent Wild West.....The Wild West that......well, who gives a shit about....Our kids aren't going to ask us about some legendary blog post or ask to see this "epic" instagram someone uploaded....It's irrelevent.....and flooded with eff-tards like me dictating what is or isn't kewl.....Animal Collective might have been the first band to explode within the 'blogoshpere'.....They might have been the first darlings of the web....Initially bands had message boards where fans could voice opinions, share reviews, cock pics, etc.....Then websites became so incredibly easy to build....So here we are....and I can tell you one thing for certain....Animal Collective could care less what the thousands of randar blogs write about 'em.....and the other thing.....Animal Collective is still rad and here I am blogging about their new 2012 effort......and in my opinion.....it's badace:
