Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 12:25AM Hide the women and children.....In my younger years, I made the mistake of tokin' a jay and riding the Texas Titan at Six Flags...It wasn't so much a mistake as it was....well bad ass and a lot of fun.....The ride slowly crept to it's initial massive descent and I completely submitted to gravity....For the next 2 minutes I was flying....arms stretched in a glorious haze....Just as the ride would peak....it would peak again....then again....then again....I don't really know what to call the band Godspeed You! Black Emperor.....They are simply original....and bad ass....Godspeed will creep up.....build and build.....then wooooooooosh make your ears completely submit to the blissful sounds they are digesting.......post rock/ambient/orchestral/dark/bliss/Canada's best:

Bear Mountian is a duo from Vancouver that plays bliss-ed out techno/youthful electronica/movie quote samplin'/just plain badace electronic musack.....Bear Mountian is damn fun and so is Canada:
