Ben Lee "Deeper Into Dream" - 2011 LP
Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 04:16PM Okay, so I was up late. Well, all night. Painting and leaving my mark around Los Angeles. When I got back to the studio I put on this album. Whoaaaa, I had no idea it was a concept album or had a running themes of 'dreams' or unconsciousness. Ben Lee usually makes pop/folkish/Aussie albums. However, his new album has a LOT of different things going on. Still highpop/well produced/good lyrics but incorporates synth/spoken word/and other experiemental elements to make a very rad album......also...amazing album cover by Lizzy Waronker:
