Kendrick Lamar "good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe)" - 2012 LP

The waves have been great in Southern California....With the crazy ass weather they've been good pretty much er'where....I had to get in the water this morn....I let mother nature bash, crush, and flip me over and over again....I was having trouble gettin' up (insert dick joke)....Finally towards the end of my session I spotted a wave forming about 50 yds out.....It was mine.....A new wave....A long slow wave to ride the entire way to shore....I paddle in perfect rhythm with the crest of the wave them "BOOM" popped up on my board and road that sucker the whole way in....It was a reminder of why surfing is so rad....A reminder that somethimes you gotta get banged up and be patient to get a new wave.....There is a new wave in rap.....The heavy weights of my genereation have spawned new young talent that may just be better than their influences....Tupac....Biggy....all of 'em....Kendrick Lamar paid his dues....Lamar took his beatings.....Lamar was patient and waited for the new wave...Now he's not only riding it in the whole way.....he's taking over the whole damn ocean:
