    Wooden Shjips "West" - 2011 LP

    It's kinda weird working inside the studio today....It's perfect out....sun blazin'.....girls running around in bikinis.....dudes crushin' cold Koowers Light....I'm inside working on an abstract portrait, listening to heavy psychedelic rock with my electricity flickering on and off all day from a bum breaker.....Wooden Shjips are just about the best soundtrack for my day.  San Francisco always churns out solid rock bands and here's another........psychedelic/drone/heavy(w/ pop elements)/very San Fran(ish) rock musack.....very good:
