Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 06:34PM LA's own Ry Cooder just might be the greatest living producer of music today. Now he's teamed up w/ Irish musicians, "The Chieftains", to make a Spanish album "San Patricio." The eclectic mix works and the album is a wonderful world music experience.

"Massa Hypnos" their 2010 LP off Ecstatic Peace Records delivers more pulse pounding high energy rock. I imagine there will be quite a bit of hype after these guys tear down SXSW this week.
