Well, who gives a shit....If the music is good it transcends genres.....Like every album I've ever written about....this one is spectacular.....And yes....moe. is a jam band.  At this point moe. is a legendary jam band.  They bring it live and i would highly recommend seeing these fine musicians in person very soon.  My favorite thing about moe. is that they kill inside the studio (this is their 10th album).  A majority of jam bands are often guilty of melting faces live and never quite recreating that inside the studio......moe. has a slew of rad studio albums and "What Happened to the La Las" is no different:

Put on the new Tennis album whilst drawing.........So the story of the band Tennis is that of folklore at this point.....Their first album came to the band on a boat while sailing the ocean blue......Neoooow with their Sophomore album the band recruited Black Keys drummer and burgeoning producer Patrick Carney.  The result?....A mature/pop/clean produced/power pop/hints of doo wop/rad female vox/magical goodness.....A great album and fun listen:
